I have to say I wasn’t familiar with Hammershoi, but I did a little research, and though lacking the coziness of the von Schwind image above, his paintings are certainly lovely. It’s so interesting to see how different artists depict interiors in such varied ways. I must do some more studying. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
