Tidepooler is written by Celeste Sunderland Gottfried, a freelance journalist living in Paris with her husband and baby. The title references a tidepool, that mysterious microcosm of sea life found at low tide on the rocky shores of New England where Celeste grew up. It’s a metaphor for all the microcosms on the planet she finds interesting, especially those dealing with culture, travel, weddings, and the home.
